OUR PRIESTS

Our rector, the Reverend Fr. David W. Munn, was ordained as a priest in 2014. He has also served in various capacities for the Christ the Healer mission program of the Archdiocese of New Orleans as a part-time medical missionary in Granada, Nicaragua, for over 20 years. Fr. David has worked in the optical field in the New Orleans area for over 45 years and has served as a commissioner on the New Orleans Regional Planning Commission for over 20 years. He attended the University of New Orleans, Holy Trinity Theological Seminary, and Logos House, earning a degree in Pastoral Care. He is married to Claudia Munn, and they have two daughters and five grandchildren.

The Reverend Fr. Abraham Villa is a 30-year resident of Picayune and a 33-year retired Air Force veteran, who was ordained as a Deacon on December 10, 2022. He received a Master’s Degree from Tulane University in New Orleans, and a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Southern Mississippi. He was dually enrolled at St. Bede’s Anglican Seminary and at Notre Dame University’s School of Ministry, earning a Scriptural Theological Diploma. He currently works as a civilian Human Resources Specialist for the Department of the Navy at Stennis Space Center, Mississippi.  In addition, he serves various mission programs in both Picayune and in New Orleans. Fr. Abraham was ordained to the Priesthood in 2024 and is currently serving as a curate (priest) at St. Barnabas Anglican Church in Picayune, Mississippi. He is married to Lisa Marie Villa, and they have three children and three grandchildren.
